WHAT IS HOBIO?
Hobio was designed to solve the problem of people not knowing where to start when they want to learn a new hobby. It offers structured categories, learning paths, and lesson content for hobbies such as candle making, coffee brewing, terrariums, and baking. Users choose a hobby and progress step by step through the learning experience.
People who want to learn hobbies often struggle to access structured content and lose motivation before completing the learning process.
A mobile learning platform that provides short, structured, category-based hobby content.
I contributed to product strategy, content architecture, user feedback analysis, UX decisions, and metric definition.
WHAT I DID AS A PRODUCT PERSON
-
I collected user feedback and questioned why users felt a certain way, learning how to turn surface-level feedback into real product problems.
-
I defined metrics such as completion rate, drop-off rate, and engagement rate, and analyzed where and why users were leaving lessons.
-
I collaborated with the content team to structure categories, learning paths, and lesson hierarchies for more than 10 hobbies.
-
I contributed constructive feedback to UI/UX decisions, helping make the interface simpler, clearer, and more fluid.
WHAT I LEARNED
I learned how to measure the gap between a user starting a lesson and completing it through product metrics. ,
I realized that real product management is not just collecting feedback, but understanding the reason behind it. ,
I learned that how information is presented is just as important as the information itself. ,
I experienced the importance of questioning every feature request with “now, later, or never.”
